An international document courier, and how a route actually gets built
DocumentJet is an international document courier service: a person collects your document, flies with it on a scheduled passenger flight and hands it over at the destination, in more than 120 countries. Every route is planned from real flight schedules and the actual position of more than 1,000 couriers, which is why the quote shows a pickup window and a delivery window rather than a promise.
120+ countries
Europe, Asia, North and South America, Africa, the Middle East and Oceania. Availability on a given day depends on the specific pair of locations.
1,000+ couriers, positioned
FLYTRIX couriers live and wait near major airports on six continents. The nearest suitable one is who your quote is built around.
Real schedules, not averages
The delivery window comes from flights that exist for your date and direction, including connections and time zones.
People ask "do you deliver to X" and expect a list of countries. The honest answer is that the country matters less than three other things: where the nearest suitable courier is, which flights leave the pickup city today, and what the destination airport lets a person with a document do on arrival. A courier can reach almost anywhere a passenger can. Whether they can reach it by tomorrow morning is the question the quote answers.
This page explains how that answer is put together, so the windows you see make sense, and so you know what to expect when a route needs a human to look at it.
How a quote is calculated
When you enter two addresses, this is what happens in the seconds before the price appears.
01
Find the airports
The nearest suitable international airports to the pickup and the delivery address, with a check that a courier can actually get from the airport to the address by road in a reasonable time.
02
Find a courier
Who is closest to the pickup, available, and holds travel documents that allow entry to the destination and any transit country without a visa run. If nobody suitable is nearby, the plan includes positioning a courier there first, by car, train or plane, and that time goes into the pickup window.
03
Find the flights
The schedule for that day and direction: nonstop where one exists, otherwise the connection with the best total time. Overnight banks eastbound, daytime flights westbound. The plan assumes the courier travels as a normal passenger with hand baggage only.
04
Add the ground legs and buffers
Airport transfers at both ends, security and check-in time, a margin for the ordinary delays of air travel. The result is the delivery window in the recipient's local time.
05
Price it
Ticket at short-notice fares, ground transport, hotel where the return cannot be the same day, positioning, and the courier's time. Most international routes land between USD $2,000 and $5,000.
Why the same distance takes a different time in each direction
Frankfurt to New York is about eight hours in the air. Leaving at 1 pm you land at 3:30 pm local time, and a document collected that morning is delivered that evening. New York to Frankfurt is seven hours, but the flights that make sense leave in the evening and land at breakfast: a document collected at noon in Manhattan is delivered around midday the next day in Frankfurt. Nothing about the courier changed; the time zones and the airlines' timetables did.
The same logic explains why Asia to Europe often works overnight, why a Sunday pickup in a smaller city may push delivery back by a flight bank, and why two documents to the same city can get different windows a few hours apart. The quote is not being cautious; it is reading the timetable.

After you book: confirmation and what can change
The automated quote is an estimate built on schedules. Within about 30 minutes of booking, our 24/7 Operations Center turns it into a plan with a named courier and booked flights, and you receive that itinerary. Only then is your card charged. Usually the plan matches the quote. When it does not, two rules apply: if the price would be higher, you approve it or cancel for free; if the arrival would be more than four hours after the end of the window you saw, the same.
Once the courier is moving, the itinerary is monitored throughout. Airlines cancel flights and we cannot stop that, but a courier standing in a terminal can be rebooked in a way a parcel in a container cannot. You get the revised arrival time as soon as the new flight is confirmed.
When a route cannot be priced online
Some pairs of locations come back without a price. Usually one of three reasons: the destination country is one we cannot currently serve; the pickup or delivery point is too far from any airport a courier can use; or the distance is short enough that a flight courier makes no sense. In each case the page tells you, and the contact form has a reason for exactly this. Operations looks at it and comes back with either a manual quote or a straight no. We do not take a booking we cannot see a way to perform.
Within a single country, DocumentJet is currently available only inside the United States. For domestic urgencies elsewhere, FLYTRIX handles those directly.
Customs, security and borders
Documents have no commercial value, so there is nothing to declare and no duty to pay, which is one reason paper is all the booking accepts. The envelope is still carry-on baggage: it goes through the X-ray, may be opened by a security officer, and can be inspected at a border like anything else a passenger carries. The courier cannot refuse a lawful inspection and will not try to. Confidential documents are handled by couriers bound by our confidentiality requirements, but no courier can shield an envelope from a customs officer, and we would rather say that here than at the airport.
Questions people ask about this
Which countries does DocumentJet serve?
DocumentJet can provide services in more than 120 countries across Europe, Asia, North America, South America, Africa, the Middle East and Oceania. Availability can depend on the specific pickup and delivery locations, local regulations, flight connections and courier availability. The easiest way to check whether a route is currently supported is to enter the pickup and delivery locations into our instant quote system.
Can DocumentJet deliver within the same country?
DocumentJet is primarily an international delivery service. Domestic deliveries are currently available within the United States. Domestic deliveries within other countries are not currently available through DocumentJet. For urgent domestic transportation outside the United States, please contact FLYTRIX directly.
How many flight couriers do you have, and where are they located?
FLYTRIX has access to a global network of more than 1,000 flight couriers, positioned around major international airports across Europe, Asia, North America, South America, Africa and Oceania. If no suitable courier is already close to your pickup location, we may first position a courier there by car, train or air. That positioning time is already taken into account when calculating your estimated pickup and delivery timeframe.
What happens if the courier's flight is cancelled or delayed?
Our 24/7 Operations Center monitors the courier's journey throughout the shipment. If a flight is cancelled, significantly delayed or disrupted, our team will evaluate the fastest practical alternative. This may include rebooking the courier onto another flight, changing the routing or making other operational arrangements. We will inform you of significant changes and provide an updated ETA. As with any service that relies on commercial passenger flights, DocumentJet cannot prevent airline cancellations, weather disruptions, airport closures or other circumstances outside our control. A delay alone does not entitle you to a refund; if the delivery cannot be completed, our Terms & Conditions set out what is refunded.
Can airport security, customs or border authorities inspect my documents?
Yes. Documents carried by a flight courier remain subject to all applicable aviation-security, customs, immigration and border-control procedures. The courier's carry-on baggage may be X-rayed, searched or manually inspected by airport security or government authorities. DocumentJet cannot prevent a competent authority from inspecting a shipment where legally permitted.
